Jacqueline Johnson is the Chief Operations Officer at Caring Health Center since 2011. Jacqueline joined the health center in 2008, bringing over ten years of prior experience in the non-profit management sector.

 

Since completing her undergraduate studies at Mount Holyoke College and graduate studies at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Jacqueline has held various leadership roles for over ten years, driving strategies and policies to improve operational quality at Caring Health Center. In 2017, Jacqueline began working as a part-time Adjunct Faculty at Baypath University providing guidance to women so that they too, can enrich our communities. During her professional career, Jacqueline served as a Board Member to several non-profits in Western Massachusetts. Most recently, she serves on BayPath University Advisory Council and Mental Health Association Board of Directors.

 

 Jacqueline is passionate about the intersectionality of race, class, and education. Rooted in her operational approach, Jacqueline has cultivated her mission to prioritize social justice and activism within her communities to promote educational opportunity, community leadership, sustainability, and health equity.

Turning a Vision into Reality

Lakisha M. Coppedge of Springfield is the Founder and Executive Director of Mema’s & Mema’s II Family Childcare Programs.  As a passionate and committed contributor to her community and the early education world she accepted the position of Family Childcare Business Developer with Square One in July, which oversees the hiring, training and governance of the non-traditional second, third and weekend shift childcare program. She is a newly trained Cultural Humility Trainer, and a life-long advocate of Cultural awareness.  With her “train the trainer” skills in Cultural Humility she has trained local library management and adopted the Medication and Training Collaboratives curriculum and training content.  Her entrepreneurial enterprises include establishing collaborations with higher education institutions to enhance community and organizational capacity and creating pathways to enhance cultural humility and inclusion efforts.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, from Springfield College and a Master’s degree in organizational management and leadership also from Springfield College.

Jazmine De la Cruz of Springfield, Massachusetts  is a Mental Health Clinician at River Valley Counseling Center, a House Manager at the Ronald McDonald House of Springfield and the founder and Health Coach, of Fit & Fabulous Fitness. With over 10 years experience, Jasmine has worked with diverse populations in the mental health field. Her specialties include, trauma, ADHD, anxiety and depression. With her caring personality, Jasmine pursued a career working directly with children at the Ronald McDonald House in Springfield that serves children and families from all over the world who are in need of medical treatment.

Taking control of her own health, Jazmine lost 75-pounds by exercising and eating healthy. Throughout this journey she found a community of women who wanted to help others change for the better. Inspired to help other women achieve their goals, Jasmine decided to start a career in the wellness industry as a Health Coach. As the founder of a fitness team called, Fit & Fabulous Ladies, Jazmine has motivated hundreds of women on their weight-loss journey. Jazmine is committed to health and wellness while motivating others to do the same. Empowering women is the name of her game. She is family oriented, bilingual, a Yankees fan and loves to cook.

 

Jazmine holds a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology and a Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology. She graduated Magna cum laude from American International College and is a member of the National Honor Society.
